WHERE TO BEGIN
Volunteering offers many benefits in exchange for the gift of your time
and expertise. There are many ways that you can get involved with JCRC
- Volunteer with the Detroit Jewish Coalition for Literacy. Tutor elementary school children who need help learning to read. Tutoring is done during the school day at a school in Oakland County or Detroit chosen by the volunteer in consultation with the literacy coordinator.
- Volunteer to work at Bookstock. Sort used books during the year before the sale. This can be done at the volunteer’s convenience at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield.
